This could be in order to add a new service to your business. Or you could be working to become a Talking Dogs Scentwork® Professional Trainer so that your clients know that you are part of a long established, reputable, forward thinking company.

Professional Trainer package
This package is especially designed for us to keep in touch on a regular basis. We will have a 1 hour Zoom meeting every week for 4 weeks. This let's us set goals, address challenges as soon as they arise and move forward at the right time. We can keep in touch by email between sessions and you can send me videos of you teaching and/or searching that I can review. We can then discuss my observations and work together to enhance the great stuff and improve the areas that need work.
If you are working towards becoming a Talking Dogs Scentwork® Professional Trainer, this package is ideal. You can talk to me about how you are getting on with the How to Teach Scentwork course (graduation is required to become at TDS Pro Trainer). You can feedback how your teaching is going, adapt lessons to your real life teaching environment and brainstorm future lesson plans.
And of course, if you've not yet achieved Accredited Handler certification (required in order to become a TDS Professional Trainer) I'm happy to coach you on that too. I can suggest areas where you might need more learning, recommend resources to help you with that, and help you assess when you are ready to go for it! I won't give you all the answers or give away any hints that will guarantee that you will become a TDS AH. Part of the process is self-assessment, you picking the right time to move forward, you having the knowledge to make those judgement calls. But I will be there helping you prepare and willing you on to do your very best.
You can book this package as often as you need. You set the time frame for achieving your goals, you are in charge.

I'm the founder and director of Talking Dogs Scentwork®. I've been teaching people and their dogs for 30 years and am dedicated to helping fellow trainers spread the love of scentwork to their clients. Great teaching takes more than learning a technique or a system, or even working operationally as a detector dog handler. Understanding the needs of your clients and knowing how to work to help them achieve their goals is an oft overlooked skill.
Throughout my professional life I have always shared my knowledge with colleagues and have been honoured by the many trainers who have come to learn from me. I've taught and trained with the best and I can't wait to share my experience to help you be your best.
How does it all work?
It's so easy!
Start by filling in the intake form that let's me know a little about your scentwork experience and what you'd like to achieve from the coaching.
I can then review your information to see if we could be a good fit to work together. If so, I'll approve your application. Then you'll receive an email with a link to the check-out page where you can select which coaching product you'd like - a single session or the 1 month package. Hit the 'Buy now' button, pay and then you are all set.
The next step is to book your first session. You pick the date and time which I will then see. Then I can set up a Zoom meeting for us to get together. You will see that in this space we can send each other messages, I can check in to see how you are getting on, set assignments and keep in touch. This is our private space where we can work together to achieve your goals.
I taylor the coaching specifically to you so that you never have to worry about rushing or feeling pressured. I'm here for you and want you to succeed. So let's get started!

In a word, no! While I obviously favour TDS methods and ethos, I'm happy to work with you no matter what type of scentwork training you're teaching.
