Scentwork Search Tracker
Keeping track of your searches is the best way to make a record of your scentwork progress. It can be difficult to remember the details of every search. Especially hard when using mixed materials, varying search locations and keeping hides fresh and new. But with this simple to use Search Tracker you don't have to remember. Fill it in after every search to make a full record of your progress.
Handler Position Infographics Set
Set of 7 downloadable and printable graphics showing handler position. Each graphic shows position for both left and right handed handlers. This is a great resource for trainers to handout in class, use as posters at training venues and to support clients.
Factors & Fixes
In this book, I’m looking at the factors that can screw up your searches. The ‘little’ things that can affect your searches and undermine your dog. Not considering them is akin to self sabotage as they can all be avoided. I’ve split the book into four sections, each examining a set of factors under the headings of Wellbeing, Environment, Environment: Distractions and Handler. I’ll explain each factor, discussing why it’s an issue. And supply the fix to help you successfully prevent or fix it.
TDS Scentwork Workbook
I've designed the workbook as a companion resource to both the in-person scentwork training provided by Talking Dogs Scentwork® and my online courses in Detector Dog School. You can follow along as you complete each in-person workshop (S1-S5), or each lesson in the core online courses. It all slots together making learning a seamless experience. Prompts, practises and puzzles are here to support you as your scentwork skills expand.
If you're anything like me, you are obsessed with your dog, or dogs. You know their favourite activities, favourite foods, you know how much they drink, sleep and play. You know their moods, their successes and their challenges. But trying to keep this all in your head, especially with multiple dogs, can be difficult. Spotting those small changes in behaviour, in eating or drinking, in their general mood is super easy with my new planner, or Dog Log.
